Volleyball

It was really a bad ugly day in my life. It was recess time in the school and all the boys were jubilantly playing and running near the gate of the school. Suddenly the team of volleyball came from the nearby village; one of the players told us they had lost the match in District tournament. The news spread like a fire and all the boys started shouting and  howling. The team along with sports teacher moved on but the boys were chanting nonstop.

When they entered the school suddenly gate closed so we left outside the school. Few minutes later gate reopened and we were asked to come in. I was the youngest in my class so I tried to hide behind the boys  but it was vain. when I reached the gate I saw a horrible scene. All the teachers were standing in parallel rows with sticks in their hands. As I stepped in, the gallantry started wiping. My school cap slipped from my head and while picking it I received plenty of hits, so I became standstill and could not move pro and to. Then luckily a teacher kicked me with his long boot and I rushed towards the lawn. Then we ran towards the classroom but a teacher was galloping towards us. While I was checking my bruise teacher caught us and we were asked to assemble in the main lawn.

Principal emerged from his big office with a long cane. All the teachers also came nearby. The principal ordered us to duck on the ground. We sit on the ground like a frog and waited for another session of punishment. Luckily a student from grade 10th stood and refused to do so. All the teachers rushed towards him and forced him to follow the orders. He plainly refused and said he would bring his father and uncles. One teacher sensing the gravity of the situation asked the boy to pick his satchel and go out of the school. He ran away .classes time was now over and we were asked to go to the rooms and wait for the last bell. It was a sigh of relief. It was my first day at school as a 5th class student.

The cols theme looks better with longer posts, so we’ll fill this one out with some filler text. ‘I’ll fetch the executioner myself,’ said the King eagerly, and he hurried off.

Alice thought she might as well go back, and see how the game was going on, as she heard the Queen’s voice in the distance, screaming with passion. She had already heard her sentence three of the players to be executed for having missed their turns, and she did not like the look of things at all, as the game was in such confusion that she never knew whether it was her turn or not. So she went in search of her hedgehog.

The hedgehog was engaged in a fight with another hedgehog, which seemed to Alice an excellent opportunity for croqueting one of them with the other: the only difficulty was, that her flamingo was gone across to the other side of the garden, where Alice could see it trying in a helpless sort of way to fly up into a tree.

By the time she had caught the flamingo and brought it back, the fight was over, and both the hedgehogs were out of sight: ‘but it doesn’t matter much,’ thought Alice, ‘as all the arches are gone from this side of the ground.’ So she tucked it away under her arm, that it might not escape again, and went back for a little more conversation with her friend.

When she got back to the Cheshire Cat, she was surprised to find quite a large crowd collected round it: there was a dispute going on between the executioner, the King, and the Queen, who were all talking at once, while all the rest were quite silent, and looked very uncomfortable.

The moment Alice appeared, she was appealed to by all three to settle the question, and they repeated their arguments to her, though, as they all spoke at once, she found it very hard indeed to make out exactly what they said.

The executioner’s argument was, that you couldn’t cut off a head unless there was a body to cut it off from: that he had never had to do such a thing before, and he wasn’t going to begin at HIS time of life.
